Motorola

Motorola is an American telecommunications company known for manufacturing mobile phones and other communication devices. It was founded in 1928 and played a significant role in the development of radio technology and the first handheld mobile phone in 1973. Originally a division of the Motorola, Inc. company, it emerged as a notable brand for smartphones, push-to-talk devices, and wireless networking equipment. Motorola has been influential in the telecommunications industry and has introduced various innovations and products over the decades, including the iconic Razr flip phone. In 2011, Motorola, Inc. was split into two companies: Motorola Mobility, focusing on consumer products, and Motorola Solutions, serving enterprise needs. Motorola Mobility was later acquired by Google in 2012 and subsequently sold to Lenovo in 2014. Today, Motorola continues to produce a range of mobile devices, including smartphones with various operating systems and features, catering to different market segments around the world.
